THERE were smiles all round when foster carers, youngsters and staff popped along to a scarecrow themed fun day.
Around 250 people turned out to the event at Foster Care Associates Midland in Brickhouse Lane, Stoke Prior, last Saturday. The day, organised by the Midland branch of the largest UK independent fostering agency, provided a feast of entertainment, including a fancy dress competition and a football tournament.
Youngsters also enjoyed the bouncy castle, free ice creams and live bands.
A Foster Care Associates spokesperson said: "It was a very popular day and a fantastic opportunity for the staff, foster carers and children to get together and have some fun."
