Energetic youngsters from a Bromsgrove school dusted off their walking boots and went on their annual expedition to Snowdonia.
Under the direction of games teacher Doug Newman, 28 pupils from the Mount School, Birmingham Road, set off for the dizzy heights of Snowdon. Over two days, pupils tackled an indoor climbing wall and visited a copper mine.
Mr Newman said: "Outdoor pursuits form part of the National Curriculum.
"We have been running this trip for around 20 years and it has always proved popular with pupils."
