WYTHALL eased home to a comfortable win in their Warwickshire League Division Three derby against struggling Five Ways Old Edwardians.
The relegation-haunted visitors won the toss and opted to bat, posting a respectable 202-4.
But Wythall responded with 203-4 to consolidate their mid-table berth after promotion last season.
Priest and co. could face a much stiffer task on Saturday when they host league leaders Streetly (2pm start).
Chris Jones' struggling Five Ways have to lift themselves following another costly defeat.
The Masshouse side are only six points short of the safety mark and will be hoping to overhaul third from bottom Castle Bromwich with a positive result from the visit of Offchurch on Saturday (2pm start).
