A GOLFER has set a new record for a three-club competition in Ombersley.
Bernard Gray, aged 66 and from Worcester, fired a one under par 35 in winning Ombersley Golf Club's annual two club and putter event on Thursday, June 19.
The score is one shot better than the previous record for the first nine holes of the course.
Bernard, whose handicap now drops from 14 to 12, said: "It's my best score ever.
"I'm still glowing from the achievement, particularly with three clubs I was very excited about it."
