BROMSGROVE School's junior boy athletics team have finished 11th out of 5,000 schools across the country.
The Worcester Road school's 15-strong team, all aged 12 and 13, achieved their ranking at the English Schools National Cup final in Southampton last Saturday having qualified via the area finals in Tipton last month.
Excellent performances on the track featured Sam Harding and Ryan Cleary winning their 800-metre heats.
Ben Newton won his 100-metre heat and Jonathan Marsh was second in his heat.
In the field, Sam Harding's third in the high jump was the main highlight.
