EIGHT girls from Bromsgrove's Parkside Middle School have fought off competition from five other schools to land an athletics title.
The U11s girls team from the Stourbridge Road school won the Challenge Athletics meeting at Droitwich Spa High, in Briar Mill, on Tuesday, July 1.
Competitors took part in the long jump, throwing a rounders ball, running 80 metres, 600m and a relay.
Spa's Westacre and Witton middle schools as well as Aston Fields and Bromsgrove School were the other teams involved.
The team was Eliza Slinn, Pippa Bussey, Carly Ford, Abby Millingham, Jade Ward, Catherine Roberts, Lydia Harvey and Jo Davitt.
