THE running of Redditch's £20 million bus station is being reviewed - less than a year after it opened.
The station has been dogged by technical and safety issues from the start.
Now Kingfisher Centre bosses are looking to tackle the problems, including the dangers posed by drivers parking in the station and using it as a drop-off point.
Tim Rylance, asset manager for centre owners Thornfield, said: "There are a lot of issues with the bus station which we are looking at.
"We're always looking to improve the Kingfisher Centre in every respect and as part of that, we are reviewing the whole operation of the bus station."
He added drivers who persistently park in the station could face prosecution.
Access problems between Plymouth Road and the station are also being addressed.
Meanwhile, talks have resumed between Thornfield and bus firm Pete's Travel, which pulled out of using the station in February.
Pete's Travel, which is now operating from Church Green, left owing several thousand pounds to Thornfield for the use of the station.
But Mr Rylance said he was hopeful the company would start using the station again, adding the issue over money was still in negotiation.
