PRESIDENT'S Night, held at the Swan Hotel, was a special evening to thank the retiring President, Alf Thompson, for all his work on the completion of his two years in office.
A large party of fellow Rotarians, guests and friends enjoyed an excellent evening. Entertainment was provided by keyboard player and vocalist Jolly Roger.
At the handover evening held at the Swan Hotel, the new officers were elected for the new Rotary year.
They were president Geoff Baylis, snr vice-president The Rev David Capron, secretary Alf Thompson and treasurer Sarah Cunningham.
The incoming president presented his programme for the year and forecast an exciting year as the club was going from strength to strength.
