PUPILS at a Redditch first school will be crawling their way to success following the creation of a £150,000 swimming pool for learners.
Staff, parents, and pupils of Woodrow First School have spent the last two-and-a-half years raising funds to build the pool, which is the only one of its kind in the area.
The Longdon Close school had a pool before but it was closed down in 2000 due to health and safety concerns.
The 15mx6m pool will be used by pupils from across the town.
