PLANNING permission to extend market stalls into Alcester Street and Market Place for three days a week will be sought, it was agreed on Monday.
The decision, which was originally made at a full council meeting on May 12, was put on hold at an Executive Committee meeting on June 4.
But at a full council meeting on Monday, it was agreed to revert to the May 12 decision.
Further steps have also been agreed in an attempt to make the market, sited behind Debenhams, a success.
More signage and banners will be put up and planning permission for extra stalls opposite New Look will also be sought.
But plans for a minibus shuttle service between the bus station and the market have been shelved.
