THOUSANDS of people joined in the fun at Alexandra Hospital's annual fete at the weekend.
The event, in aid of a new £25,000 state-of-the-art mobile X-ray machine, raised thousands of pounds on Saturday.
Crowds enjoyed entertainment from skipping world champions Studley Blue and White Skippers, Redditch Junior Fencing Club and the Silver Star Steel Band after the day was officially opened by Redditch Mayor Kieth Boyd-Carpenter.
The new mobile X-ray machine will be used in most of the hospital's departments including Accident and Emergency, Intensive Care Unit and the Special Care Baby Unit.
