A STUDLEY woman will be attending a garden party at Buckingham Palace after going for gold and achieving her goal.
Kate Harris, 20, from Node Hill, will be going along on July 17 to be presented a gold certificate for her success in the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme.
Miss Harris had to undertake several challenges to achieve the gold standard, including helping the 1st Studley Brownies, walking 50 miles in one day in Snowdonia while carrying all her own equipment and taking part in a National Trust working holiday.
Miss Harris achieved her award through Alcester Grammar School.
