A SUPERB spell of seam bowling from Lee Daniels sealed a third consecutive win for rampant Kidderminster Victoria at home to Stourbridge Social in Worcestershire League Division Six.
Bowling first, Daniels and Simon Whitmore took wickets at regular intervals, not allowing the home batsmen any time to settle.
At one stage, the visitors were 32-9 although a spirited last-wicket stand ensured they reached 65 all out in 25 overs.
Whitmore's 4-38 was impressive and Daniels's 5-12 from 12 overs included an impressive spell of eight consecutive maidens.
Both bowlers responded superbly and filled the void left by leading wicket-taker Ian Kimberlin who was absent at a wedding.
In reply, Derek Cadwallader's 33 not out guided the home side to an easy eight-wicket victory inside 11 overs, their fourth win from five games.
Stourbridge Social 65, KVCC 68-2.
