EVESHAM firefighters have been trained to use mass decontamination equipment in case of chemical attacks.
Crews were trained last week in how to use portable shower equipment which enables people to have three minute showers if they have been contaminated.
Sub-officer Julian Jenkins said the collapsing structure, complete with its own water boiler is based in Droitwich. However, Evesham firefighters could be called on if there were attacks in Birmingham or London.
