TENBURY Round Table members have met up with other local sponsors of the Into Africa project that featured in last week's Advertiser.
Tablers are pictured right with youth workers and youngsters who were involved in buying a scrap digger, refurbishing it and then painting it like a giraffe.
They then waved it off on the long journey to Tanzania where it will be used by local labour to repair potholed roads. The digger was shipped by container along with other donated items that aim to improve the quality of life for people in Tanzania.
Digger Aid, an evening of music and entertainment by local and other artists, is being held tomorrow (Friday July 11) at St. Michael's Village Hall. Tickets are available by calling 01584 811648 or 811379.
