A TEENAGE horse rider from Burford competed for gold in Ireland at the weekend in her first international contest with the British Pony Team.
Thirteen-year-old Natalie Everall, a pupil at Tenbury High School, was one of eight riders chosen to represent her country in the dressage competition held at Blarney Castle in Southern Ireland.
Natalie, a member of Ludlow Hunt Pony Club, has been riding since she was three years old, but her interest in dressage has grown over the past three years.
She commits all her spare time to the event and trains with the under 21s UK Worcestershire, a group dedicated to helping dressage riders achieve their goal.
Natalie is one of the youngest riders to represent her country at dressage and thanks her Hereford-based trainers Jean Griffiths and Sarah Childs.
