SPECIAL OLYMPICS: Two of Worcestershire Special Olympics' Kidderminster stars gave silver-medal winning displays for Great Britain in the World Summer Games.
Swimmer Debbie Allen-Trew, 23, added a freestyle relay bronze to her 50-metre freestyle second place in Dublin.
She only missed out on a gold in the 50m backstroke after being disqualified for a technicality while turning in the 25m pool.
Claire Andrews, 20, played in defence as the GB five-a-side football team had an excellent tournament with victories over USA, Germany and Holland.
But the side succumbed to Zimbabwe 3-0 in the final after drawing with them earlier in the tournament.
The games, involving thousands of Special Olympics competitors, were attended by a string of celebrities.
Allen-Trew's mother Rosie said: "They really had a wonderful time."
