IT might seem a bit early but theatres all over the area are turning their thoughts to panto season - and it might be worth knowing what's on so you can be sure of a good seat.
The eagerly awaited RSC family show for the festive season will this year be Beauty and the Beast, directed by Laurence Boswell.
This is Laurence's third direction of the story of a girl's discovery of love in the palace of the beast.

In Chipping Norton, a special launch has just revealed this year's panto plans. Robin of Wychwood is set in the Cotswolds and makes reference to local myths, legends and landmarks.
It is the result of a family collaboration by Tina Bict, costume designer and creator for many years, and her brothers Tony and Nick.

Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood are joining forces in the Malvern Theatres panto. Ruth Madoc, Gladys from Hi de Hi, is starring in the show, running from December 17 to January 11. Call 01684 892277 for details.

Cinderella is off to the ball again in the festive show at Tewkesbury's Roses Theatre.
