PLACES are going quickly for the first Daiwa-Bewdley Teams of Four Championship over the weekend of August 16 and 17.
The event, on the Kidderminster and District Angling Association stretch of the River Severn, will be run on points with the venue split into four sections.
An angler from every team will be put in each section as they fish for a first prize of around £1,000, depending on entries, plus trophies.
The competition is being organised by Dave Harrell and Matt Maginnis with the draw held at the Woodman pub each day at 10am and fishing from 1pm until 6pm.
There will also be separate individual section pools with prizes to the top five anglers on each of the two days.
Teams wishing to find out more details of the event and costs can write to Bewdley Angling, PO Box 2660, Bewdley, DY12 2GL.
They can also e-mail bewdleyangling@aol.com or ring 07919 122393.
