AS it is Marks and Spencer's intention to relocate to new premises within Kidderminster's Weavers Wharf complex, would this not be the right time to help our ailing indoor market?
It could move from the dilapidated buildings at the end of Worcester Street to the vacated MandS premises in High Street.
With all the new developments now taking place on the old Brintons site, the indoor retail market would be back within the town's main shopping areas as it used to be.
Hopefully this would encourage more people to use the facilities available as well as put life back into the market, with increased business and more stalls.
Kidderminster always had a thriving and busy indoor market. Wouldn't it be nice to see that repeated once again?
