LAST Saturday there was a particularly disappointing audience at Wyre Forest symphony Orchestra's summer concert.
Less than 100 people came to hear Weber, Strauss and Vaughan Williams Fifth Symphony.
I imagine there were other attractions on Saturday night competing for audiences. But, even so, I just hope that Kidderminster folk realise how lucky they are to have a symphony orchestra capable of performing to such a high standard.
Hopefully there will be a better response for the concert on December 6 when Tchaikovsky's overture to Romeo and Juliet, Brahms' Violin Concerto and Sibelius Symphony No 7 are being performed.
