PUPILS at Bretforton First School have started work on an artistic masterpiece which will stretch an entire length of their school hall.
The children were first asked to create pictures which reflected their school motto, 'small enough to care, strong enough to grow', and the 30 children who took part have had parts of their work incorporated into the design.
All 53 pupils at the school are currently having sessions with the artist in residence, Aidan Meller, to help create the screen.
The project was funded by the school's parents' association, which gave £1,200, and Worcester Education Department, which gave a £300 grant.
Headteacher Ayse Moseley said: "We're always keen to develop the children's creative skills and this is a super opportunity."
