Members enjoyed a strawberries and cream tea on Monday afternoon.
Over the past few weeks the club has held a regular cacti planting afternoon.Each member took a cacti in a pot which they will bring back at the end of the year to be judged.
Simple exercises given by Iris Steadman were greatly enjoyed and found to be beneficial.
A talk on pensions and finance was also very useful.
A guessing game on the subject of comedians was played with the winning table naming 66 comedians. A total of £56 was collected for charity.
Several new members were welcomed, including Rose Watts, Roy Hilton, Joan Jones, Hilda Weavers, and Mrs Nicholson. New members over 55 are very welcome on Monday afternoons, from 2pm until 4pm, at the Day Centre, New Street, Stourport.
An outing and lunch to the Hop Pocket at Bishops Frome has been organised for Wednesday, July 23.
