FLOOD-WEARY residents in Bewdley will be able to hear about the first stage of defence works coming to Severnside South later this summer.
Representatives from the Environment Agency and Severn Trent will speak at the meeting at Bewdley Baptist Church, on Tuesday, at 7pm, about the forthcoming gas, electricity and sewer work.
It is the second phase of the project to make Bewdley flood-proof.
Work at Severnside North was completed in August of last year and caused disruption to the lives of traders and residents.
