A HUSBAND and wife whose Kidderminster business failed with debts of more than £73,000 have agreed not to hold directorships or take part in company management for seven years.
Timothy and Karen Lazenby, of Steatite Way, Stourport, did not dispute Insolvency Service allegations of unfit conduct concerning their failure to maintain records for their industrial maintenance business.
Acorn Industrial Maintenance Ltd, of Frederick Road, Hoo Farm Industrial Estate, went into voluntary liquidation in April 2001, with estimated debts of £73,596. Mr Lazenby, 39, and his wife, 36, are prevented from being directors of a company or being concerned the promotion, formation or management of a company for the next seven years.
A Rock businessman who was a director of a Dudley leisurewear manufacturing firm, which failed owing almost £81,000, has agreed not to hold directorships or take part in company management for six years.
Stephen Thomas was a director of Kirkwood Leisure which also went into voluntary liquidation in April 2001.
He did not dispute matters of unfit conduct in failing to pay money owed to the Inland Revenue.
