GREEN-fingered toddlers will be selling their home-made and home-grown wares at tomorrow's Farmers' Market in Kidderminster.
The three and four-year-olds will be selling cakes, bread - including their special granary "hedgehog bread" - and vegetables they have planted and cared for themselves.
The children, who attend Mayfield House Kindergarten, are proficient young entrepreneurs, having already sold their home-made products to parents and at a previous farmers' market. Everything on the stall will be 50p.
Nursery owner Heidi Munday said the stall initiative was part of the strong emphasis on natural healthy food at the nursery, which offers children a more traditional start in life.
Janet Yates, co-ordinator of the markets, said: "I think Heidi's encouragement of the children is fantastic."
The markets also feature seasonal fruit and vegetables, homemade sausages, home-cured bacon, speciality breads, cakes and pastries, free-range eggs, cheeses, cider, juices and plants and runs from 9am to 4pm.
