A TEENAGE girl suffered an asthma attack when she and seven friends were trapped in a lift at a Kidderminster block of flats.
Firefighters took 15 minutes to rescue the group from Coniston House, Hurcott Road, at about 11pm on Sunday.
The girl was given oxygen and medication by paramedics but did not need hospital treatment.
Sub officer Mick Rowlands said the lift - which was not overloaded - became hot and stuffy and the teenager was not carrying an inhaler.
"The asthma attack was perhaps brought on by the fact she was stuck in the lift," he said.
