STAFF in the district council's planning, health and environment division are out in front when it comes to getting on their bikes.
Employees were challenged to use two wheels to get to work during National Bike Week and those in the winning department, in Stourport, chalked up 300 miles.
Alison Plant, health and sustainability officer, said: "Many who had not cycled for years got on their bikes and some clocked up 50 miles during the week."
During the week, staff pedalled to work on the canal towpath between Kidderminster and Stourport and attended a talk by Bob Green from Bishopswood environmental centre.
