A SUPPORT group is going crazy for cans in a recycling drive to raise vital cash.
Members of Wyre Forest Day Opportunities Centre, in Kidderminster, have launched their own aluminium collection service.
The initiative aims to help the adults, who have learning disabilities, to gain new skills while doing a worthwhile fund-raising project.
It is run by Social Services, which manages the centre, with Wyre Forest District Council and the Aluminium Packaging Recycling Organisation (Alupro). Residents can leave recyclable cans and foil at the centre, in Habberley Road, Blakebrook, Kidderminster.
The group will then sort them before selling them on for recycling. All money raised will benefit the centre users.
