THE Midlands' only live Robbie Williams tribute band plays its debut gig in Wyre Forest on Saturday.
Five-piece group "Live Thru the Lens" will take to the stage at the Kingsford pub in Wolverley to perform a range of hits illuminated by a full light show.
And a raffle on the night will raise cash for international charity Unicef which the band supports.
"It's an extremely good show and they have a big following," said Kingsford manager Mark McDermott, who claimed many tribute acts were one-man bands supported by backing tracks.
He added he was keen to give musicians somewhere to play and said there was live entertainment in the pub's 220-capacity concert room every weekend.
"There are very few places doing live music. There are too many bands drifting by the wayside because they haven't got venues."
Doors open for Saturday's gig at 8pm. For further information contact Mr McDermott on 01562 850428.
