WELFORD failed to make headway up the Courier League table after the club's first team could only collect three points from their latest outing.
The second-placed side won on a solitary rink thanks to the efforts of Peter Day, Phil Jones and Ian Smith (30-15).
The second team, though, managed to double that points tally after a 53-44 triumph.
They won on two of the three rinks to claim six points with the trios of Maurice Burman, Bill Whamond and Brain Howard (18-12) and Fred Gee, Dave Wilshaw and Ron Barnwell (22-15) in winning form.
