PERMISSION to build a bungalow on an open space at Martley, near Worcester, has been refused by Malvern Hills planners.
The proposed
three-bedroom bungalow would have been in a conservation area, outside the settlement boundary, which surrounds the site on three sides.
It is the district council's policy not to allow development outside the settlement boundaries except for homes for agricultural workers, barn conversions, replacement homes and affordable housing.
