THE last session to view the aerial photos used to create the Jubilee pictorial map will be tomorrow (Saturday) from 10am to noon in the Millennium Room. Photos of all areas of the parish will be on display. Copies can be obtained at £8 each.
A strawberry tea is being held at Garden Cottage, Evendine Lane tomorrow, starting at 2.30pm by kind invitation of Mrs Sylvia Darby. Everyone is welcome to attend. Admission is free: pay for what you eat. Proceeds will be to Water Aid. This event is supported by Churches Together in Colwall.
Caves Folly and Longacre gardens will be open for charity under the National Gardens Scheme, from 2-6pm on Sunday. Entrance to each garden is £2, children 50p.
Application forms for the Walwyn's Educational Foundation can be obtained from Mr S J Widdows, Clerk to the Governors, West Mead, Walwyn Road, Colwall, tel: 540326. The Foundation offers grants to students resident in the parishes of Little Malvern and Colwall who are going on from school to a course of vocational or higher education. Completed forms must be returned by September 15.
A jazz service will be held at St James the Great at 6.30pm on Sunday.
A patronal supper will be held in the Ale House on Friday, July 25 at 7.30pm. This will include wine, starter and puddings. Tickets from Syd Widdows, Marion Percy and Pauline Veale. Seats are limited so please book early.
