THE Hall Committee held their AGM on Monday evening. There was a disappointing lack of public participation, but one person offered her services and was welcomed onto the committee. The existing officers were all re-elected for another year - the only change is that Ros Adams has taken over the management of the 200 Club from Shirley Wilcox.
Come and meet Mr Toad, Ratty, Badger, Mole and the rest of the crew from The Wind in the Willows at the family service on Sunday at 9.30am. It should be fun!
The Bible Study Group are having their summer break but sessions will resume on Tuesday, September 9, at 10am at Woodside, Floyds Lane.
The Historic Churches Bike Ride is on September 13. It isn't that far ahead and there is plenty of time to get in training! It is a sponsored ride for all ages at your own speed to raise money for the Historic Churches Trust and the church of your choice. John Jacobs (634941) is the local village organiser and sponsor forms can be obtained from him.
