THE star of the show at Much Marcle Steam Rally will be a display of nearly 200 vintage cars, tractors and stationary engines.
The event runs on Saturday and Sunday, July 19-20, from 10am-6pm each day. It also includes a vintage caravan display and a working thresher and steam plough.
Also on the agenda for both days is the Paws for Thought dog display team, and the Burmese Carters, a Burmese mountain dog team.
"We try to cater for all age groups," said Pat Chester, one of the organisers of the event. "I think it will be a great day out for everyone."
In keeping with the effort to interest all ages, the festival also includes a Punch and Judy show for younger children, and Penny Rigdon's Can-can dancers will perform.
As well as all the displays, there will be more than 100 trade stands and a model and craft tent. An added attraction on the Sunday will be Shire horses.
The event will be held at Rye Meadows, Much Marcle, on the A449 Ledbury-Ross road. Admission is £4 for adults (£2 concs).
Many of the stalls and displays will be going on to the Welland Steam Rally on July 25-27.
Welland also boasts a military vehicles parade, as well as a firework display on the Saturday night.
Gates open from 10am until midnight, at Woodside Farm, Welland.
