Adequate Seven formed out of a group of close friends from Wales and the West Country in late 2000.

They got together to merge diverse musical influences to create a distinctive groove-laden hardcore sound.

After perfecting this, and plenty of gigging around this county, they recorded a five-track EP in February 2001, released on Breaking World Records.

This was distributed through punk rock mail-orders and brought them to the attention of London-based label Household Name Records, who featured a track on their 2002 label sampler.

During last year the band also embarked on a series of successful tours with bands including Hundred Reasons, Capdown, Lightyear, and US band Fishbone.

The band consists of Kazz Basma on guitar and vocals, Pete Barnes on guitar and vocals, Jonny Prosser on bass and vocals, Tom Pinder on trombone and vocals, Jamie Searle on lead vocals, Matt Price on trumpet, and Ben Reynolds on drums.

The band released the debut album, Songs Of Innocence And Of Experience in March this year.

Catch them at Worcester's youth centre, on the City Walls Road, Worcester tomorrow.
