A WOMAN won £25,000 by identifying the sound of a yoghurt pot lid being peeled back.
Lucy Rochford-Dyer was one of 40,000 contestants to call in to Wyvern FM's Secret Sound competition on Monday.
But she was the only one to win the top prize of £25,000 after correctly guessing what had generated the sound played over the airwaves.
The 24-year-old, who works at the Scarlet Ark caf on Church Street, said she was totally dumbfounded by the news she had won.
"It was just complete shock," she said. "I couldn't believe it. It was a really strange feeling - I can't describe it."
Until then she had been worrying about how to find the money to get married next year - but now she can plan a dream wedding.
"We're not head-counting now," she said. "That was the thing I was most pleased about."
