FOUR Pershore High School students covered themselves in glory at the British Canoe Championship at Holme Pierpoint in Nottingham.
James Train (17) won the Senior C1 class (1000m) and C2 class (500m and 1000m) canoeing races. He has been selected to represent Great Britain at the world championships in Japan at the end of August.
Simon Avery (16) won the C1 class at 500m and 1000m.
Katie Train (13) won the Junior U14 K4 1000m and 500m event, and came second in the K2 2500m, and third in K2 1000m and 500m.
Ben Holmes (14) of Besford won the U14 K1 500m, U16 K2 500m (silver), U16 K2 1000m (bronze) and U14 K1 2500m (silver).
James, Simon and Katie are all members of Fladbury Paddlers, while Ben is a member of the Worcester Club.
Meanwhile, Kirsty Law (15) of Drakes Broughton will be representing Hereford & Worcester in the National Schools Athletics Championships in Sheffield this weekend, while Rosie Benjamin (13) of Stock Green has been selected to play for the U13 Worcestershire cricket team.
