Worcestershire County Council is to spend £10,000 improving transport links and access to Pendock Primary School.
Problems are created by the large number of cars parked on School Lane at the start and end of the day. The lane has no footpath and there are fear for the safety of pedestrians.
There is also a problem with buses driving down School Lane and turning at the junction with Nertherly Lane. The introduction of a footpath has been proposed from the school gates to Nertherly Lane junction. There are also plans to improve the junction itself.
As part of Worcestershire County Council's Safer Routes to School initiative, the council also aims tackle any problems faced by pupils when they walk, cycle and use the bus to get to school.
