FLADBURY v WEST MALVERN
WEST Malvern visited Fladbury in a Crusader Worcestershire League Division Six fixture looking for their fourth win on the trot.
Fladbury were invited to bat and built a total of 221-7 wickets, with D Prudden making a fine 70. Joseph Little was the pick of the West Malvern bowlers, taking 4-40 helped by three excellent catches by Matthew Cross and also two very good catches by Andy Wood.
West Malvern batted steadily in reply, with 105 runs compiled by the fall of the second wicket. No further wickets fell as Duncan Cooper (84no) and Matthew Cross (52no) accelerated the scoring, West Malvern winning by eight wickets.
West Malvern 20 points, Fladbury four points, and West Malvern move to joint third position in the league table.
