WORCESTER Nomads U10s achieved an impressive victory at Pershore last Monday evening.

Winning the toss and batting they again scored a higher net total than in any of their previous three matches this season.

Against Rushwick in their first game they scored a net 209. The next match saw a vast improvement in a reduction in the numbers of wickets lost and a total of 245 was just enough to beat Dominies.

On a small pitch at Ombersley Nomads again scored more net runs to close on 264 but this never looked enough and Ombersley swept past this total.

Against Pershore, it was pleasing to again total more than earlier with 281 which included 16 each from Andrew Curtis and James Doorbar and a spirited 14 scored by Alex Williams.

In their reply of 201, Pershore were not challenging and only last man Payne with a sterling score of 20 posed any threat. The Nomads bowlers who did the damage were primarily Ben Warren who took 3-15 and Williams 2-11 as they ended victorious by 80 runs.
