TWO talented Bromsgrove brothers are aiming to become the best in the business at the sports they love.
Jordan and Daniel Crane, of Friarscroft, are both carving out successful careers at the top end of rugby and football respectively.
Seventeen-year-old Jordan is part of Bath's youth academy and has been selected to join the England U19s squad in Cape Town, South Africa, this week.
Daniel, aged 19, has just signed professional goalkeeper forms with first division West Bromwich Albion and will be number three choice behind Russell Hoult and Joe Murphy next season.
Jordan, himself on the Baggies' books at U13s level, began to realise his skill for rugby at South Bromsgrove High School when he was scouted by Worcester.
The second row player then started with Bath, commuting from Bromsgrove, and captained their U16s side to Somerset Cup glory before being selected for the England U18s last Easter.
So far Jordan, now boarding at Bristol's Colston's School, has earned four caps for his country and was named man of the match against Wales.
Brother Daniel has just completed a three-year scholarship at the Hawthorns and, after a six-month wait, has finally landed a contract with the former Premiership boys.
Their mother, Belinda Crane, is amazed her sons could reach the top level in two of the country's most popular sports.
She said: "It's so unusual that they are both doing so well. You do feel so proud but we have been so proud of them for a long time."
In addition, Jordan will be part of his school team's two-week tour of Australia and Figi next summer and is looking for sponsorship.
