A GROUP of yobs assaulted two Spanish students while they waited at the main bus station in CrownGate after a night out in the city centre.
The two pupils, who are at the University College of Worcester on an exchange trip, were attacked on Monday night around 11pm.
They were with 13 of their colleagues when a teenager, believed to be around 15 years old, started to verbally abuse them.
A few minutes later four other men in a red car, thought to be a Ford Escort, joined the teenager and assaulted the two foreigners, who were left with minor injuries and treated at Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
"This was a nasty attack on two men waiting to get a bus home," said PC Russ Baynton.
"Unfortunately we only have a description on the first offender though.
"He is white, around 1.6 metres tall, slim, with short spiky blonde hair, and two earrings in his left ear.
"I'm appealing for anyone with any information to call me on 08457 444888 quoting crime number 339C/140703 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 55111.
