SPINNER Ashley Giles picked up two wickets in three overs as England cruised to a seven-wicket victory against South Africa in the NatWest series final.
Droitwich Spa-based Giles, currently on duty with Warwickshire at Middlesex, caught and bowled M van Jaarsveld in his first over at Lord's last Saturday.
He then followed that up by taking A Nel as Michael Vaughan's side skittled the visitors out for a record low 107.
Giles was assisted in the bowling by seamers James Anderson, Darren Gough, Andrew Flintoff and Richard Johnson.
England comfortably reached their target just three wickets down and with 29.4 overs to spare.
