Dear Editor - Your correspondent's reply, Protecting Your Property, to my earlier letter is a disgrace.
He suggests that we are somehow to blame by 'sharing the criminals taste in cars.' I presume criminals have many different preferences in cars, cycles and everything else. He says that the car should have been garaged. My wife's car was attacked at 9pm just before she was due to go out. We can't lock vehicles away permanently.
I didn't say the police were to blame or did nothing to prevent theft, I was merely asking for more information to be given when certain types of vehicles are being targeted.
Which websites is he talking about? I can only find two for Rubery and they have no such information.
S M Trench, Rubery.
