n HOW stupid can people and organisations be?
I saw SARA asked for signs to be put on Worcester Bridge telling people not to jump off it, into the River Severn, as this is very dangerous!
Why do they also not tell Worcester City Council to put up some other signs on one of Worcester's main tourist attractions, telling people not to step into the road into the path of a speeding lorry?
You cannot legislate for people's stupidity. But you can do something about where to spend Worcester people's cash.
I think keeping fares on public transport at a "reasonable cost" would be a better way of spending taxpayers' money, rather than erecting more worthless signs that would probably get vandalised quickly anyway.
