I AGREE with Mrs Chambers regarding the loss of the 29B bus. The area between London Road and Liverpool Road is an extensive one and needs a regular bus service.
Many elderly - including 80 to 90-year-old - widows live near me and I know personally that carrying shopping home from the London Road traffic island is no joke.
The No 30 bus is not convenient for the Cathedral end of town, nor for Sidbury, where many use the Post Office there for pensions.
In any case there are plenty of buses down Newtown Road because of the hospital buses.
We appreciate the better frequency of the No 28 buses than previously, but a regular half-hour 29B would be better still.
MRS M. PIERCE,
Worcester.
