A TRIP to the sunny shores of Weston-Super-Mare is one of the first journeys planned for a new minibus presented to a Charford community centre.
Councillor John Tidmarsh, chairman of Bromsgrove District Council, presented the 17-seater vehicle to the Multi Agency Resource Centre in Humphrey Avenue last Thursday.
The minibus is a gift from the Bromsgrove Community Safety Partnership and will be used to ship town youngsters on a wide range of excursions.
Project manager Debbie Roberts said: "We are absolutely delighted with the new minibus. "Along with a trip down to Weston, we are also planning to use it during our annual summer arts festival to take children to a professional recording studio," Debbie added.
