A GROUP of talented dancers from Bromsgrove scooped trophies after showing off their dazzling moves in a recent dance competition.
Sarah Peters, Emma Perry and Amy Knight all walked away from the prestigious Rising Stars event in Aylesbury with trophies in tow on Sunday, June 29.
The Bromsgrove School of Dance competitors joined hundreds of other hopefuls from up and down the country for the annual event near London.
Sarah, from Aston Fields Middle School, won the title in the intermediate U12s category, Emma was awarded the title in the U14s group while Amy scooped the trophy in the U14s starter category.
Sarah's parents, Jim and Becky Peters, were two of the many proud parents to attend the Rising Stars event last month.
Becky said: "We are so proud of her. She has been competing in events for nearly two years and loves dancing."
Dance school teacher Denise Baker added: "It was wonderful. Many of our pupils took part in the annual event and the dance school enjoyed a very successful day. We are proud of them all."
She went on to add the girls would go on to take part in the East of England Dance Festival in September this year.
"This festival is a lot harder but we are hoping they are equally successful there," Denise said.
