YOUNGSTERS in Bromsgrove can look forward to an explosion of summertime fun with plenty to keep them amused during the long summer holidays.
Free family entertainment throughout the whole of the school break is on the agenda for boys and girls of all ages.
Clowns, magic and a puppet-go-round are just some of the star attractions included in a fun-packed programme of out-of-term treats.
Huw Moseley, Bromsgrove District Council's arts development manager, said: "Please come along and join us. There are plenty of laughs to be had without having to dig into your pocket."
Clowns and Magic in the Park will offer a programme of fun and confusion every Thursday afternoon, from July 24 to August 28.
Jolly jesters Clown Peteza, Jetto and Kevin, will take it in turns to foot the bill!
Performances will be held each afternoon at 2 and 3pm at the bandstand in Sanders Park off Kidderminster Road.
And a Bumper Box of Delights is in store this Saturday for visitors to Rubery Youth Centre when Punchinello's Puppets present - for one performance only - a triple bill of old time entertainment. The show will include The Moral Tale of Merry Mr Punch, the Boneshaker Brothers Skeleton Circus and Clown Joey's Harlequinade. The fun starts at 1.30pm.
"Rubery Youth Centre is a hundred years old this year, and Bromsgrove District Council has joined forces with Worcestershire County Council, for the special celebration performance," added Huw.
